The exhibition "Izhevsk weapons factory: from the flintlock gun to kalash"

The opening ceremony of the new exhibition started with the sounds of an old march. Alexander Yermakov, the Deputy Director of the Kalashnikov Exhibition Complex of Small Arms, handed letters of gratitude to those who contributed to the making of the exhibition “Izhevsk Weapons Factory: from the flintlock gun to Kalash”.

A new exhibition dedicated to the 74th anniversary of the victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War was opened in the Kalashnikov Exhibition Complex of Small Arms on the eve of Victory Day. Victory Day is a holiday associated with the heroism of Soviet soldiers and civilians.

The solemn opening of the new exhibition devoted to the 50th anniversary of biathlon competitions named "The Izhevsk Rifle" was held today in the Kalashnikov Museum and Exhibition Complex. The anniversary of "The Izhevsk Rifle" is an important event not only for biathletes and firearms designers of Izhevsk Machine-Building Plant, but also for all residents of the Udmurt Republic, which is famous for its top quality weapons and talented biathletes.
