Kalashnikov Museum and Exhibition Comples of Small Arms present the new exhibition “Queen of the Battlefields: infantry weapons of the XVIII-XXI centuries”.

The infantry is the oldest branch of the military, holding the main position in the ranks of the ground forces for almost the entire history of mankind.

During the period of its long existence, the infantry was constantly changing: weapons were being improved, the tactics of fighting were changing etc. At our new exhibition, visitors can trace the main stages of the two-century evolution of infantry small arms in Russia: from the flint smoothbore guns to the legendary Kalashnikov assault rifle and its various modifications.

The “Queen of the Battlefields: infantry weapons of the XVIII-XXI centuries” exhibition runs until May 14, 2023
