A new exhibition dedicated to the 74th anniversary of the victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War was opened in the Kalashnikov Exhibition Complex of Small Arms on the eve of Victory Day. Victory Day is a holiday associated with the heroism of Soviet soldiers and civilians.

“Hey, a song, the song of the young girl, fly and go after the bright Sun, find a soldier on the distant borderlands, say hello from Katya waiting long for him” – the lines of the world-famous song performed at the ceremonial opening of the exhibition “Stalin’s 10 Blows” by the Choir of Vladimir Mikhailov.

The opening ceremony started with the greeting speech of Olga Minervina, the director of the Kalashnikov Museum. Olga Minervina noted that the exhibition “Stalin’s 10 Blows” will help to learn more about ten strategic offensives, which provided the victory of the Red Army in the Great Patriotic War.

The exhibition is one of the anniversary events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of Mikhail Kalashnikov, and will work until the 22nd of June.
