Exhibition “Weapon through the Centuries”

From February 16 to May 14, 2017 exhibition “Weapon through the Centuries” devoted to the main stages of development and improvement of manual firearms – from the primitive hand cannon ignited by means of a wick (the 14-16th centuries) to modern high-precision assault and sniper complexes of small arms works in Museum and exhibition complex.
 About forty samples of weapon created in Russia and Western Europe, in Asia and in the Middle East during different periods of history are shown at the exhibition; information about features of munitions and firing from firearms of different types is presented.
The exhibition is created in close cooperation with the oldest museum of the Udmurt Republic – the Museum of history and culture of the Middle Kama region (Sarapul city), on the basis of its rich collection of historical weapon.
