Following the traces of the "Brezhnev collection"

On the December 17, at the Kalashnikov Museum and Exhibition Complex of Small Arms the exhibition "Following the traces of the "Brezhnev collection" was opened. For the first time, the general public is able to see a unique hunting arsenal of top party leaders. In the late 1980s, State Repository for Precious Metals of the USSR received a large collection of hunting weapons that belonged to the country's top Soviet and party leaders. With the Dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991, the collection was divided and transferred for storage to the arms plants of Tula, Kovrov and Izhevsk.

From September 15 to October 4, the Kalashnikov Museum and Exhibition Complex of Small Arms is presenting a unique project: the exhibition of highly-artistic guns design "Golden Burin 2020". The uniqueness of this project is that it is also a competition. Visitors to the Kalashnikov Museum will be able to evaluate the work of the contestants and help to decide the winners.

THE OPENING OF THE EXHIBITION “READY TO FIGHT”

Military uniforms of different epochs, means of communication, respirators, parts of military ammunition, weapons and personal things of Soviet soldiers and officers can be seen at the exhibition “Ready to Fight”. It was opened in the Kalashnikov Museum and Exhibition Complex of Small Arms on the eve of the Day of Military Honour of Russia.
