On the eve of the anniversary of the Izhevsk Mechanical Plant, Kalashnikov Museum and Exhibition Complex of Small Arms presents the new exhibition “Baikal”. The Past and the Present”.

Izhevsk Mechanical Plant was founded in the middle of 1942.

The first manufactured products were Tokarev semi-automatic pistols and anti-tank weapon systems of famous Soviet gun designers V.A. Degtyarev and S.G. Simonov. During the Great Patriotic War, Izhevsk Mechanical Plant produced 200,000 anti-tank rifles, a million pistols and revolvers, 180,000 signal pistols and many other types of military equipment.

The reliability of products manufactured under the Baikal brand have gained recognition not only in Russia, but also in more than 70 countries around the world.

The exhibition “Baikal”. The Past and the Present” shows not only sport and hunting weapons and pistols, but also a wide range of products for outdoor activities. The exhibits will interest both specialists and ordinary visitors.
